　　The Golden State Warriors have maintained a relatively low profile in their offseason roster moves, but they have recently made a move to bolster their depth. According to *Sports Illustrated*, the Warriors have reached a signing agreement with 24-year-old guard Deivon Smith, who shined in the Summer League championship game. The deal is reportedly an Exhibit 10 contract, and the versatile backcourt standout will have the opportunity to compete for a two-way contract slot during training camp.

　　Standing at 6 feet tall (183 cm), Smith joined the Warriors' G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, in February last season and immediately showcased efficiency. In nine games, he averaged 17.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game.

　　This summer, he represented the Warriors in the Summer League and elevated his game further. Notably, in the championship game against the Memphis Grizzlies, he shot 9-of-14 from the field, erupting for 21 points and grabbing 9 rebounds for a near-double-double, playing a key role in the Warriors' title victory and catching the attention of the front office.

　　Currently, competition for the Warriors' two-way contract slots is fierce, with existing holders including LJ Cryer and forward Malevy Leons. With Smith's addition, he will join rookie Lajae Jones and others in a "position battle" for the team's three available two-way contract spots.

　　Notably, the Warriors still have two standard roster vacancies. According to external analysis, Cryer, who shot hot from three-point range last season with a nearly 40% clip, is highly likely to be promoted to a standard contract. If this move materializes, it would free up a two-way contract slot, giving young players like Smith more leverage to secure a spot on the roster.
